Sometime in early January 2026 Secular Left was banned from the Tiktok platform. No warning was given and no explanation was given either. It may be related to the change in ownership that took place about the same time and other liberal/progressive accounts have reported being banned or having their content hidden. We posted only clips from the episodes to promote the podcast and it is the same content we upload to the other social media platforms with no issues. We have to conclude that the right-wing tech bros are behind protecting President Trump from criticism about the Epstein files and his other fascist actions and is ironic given the right-wing crying about censorship when President Biden just asked social media platforms to do better about keeping misinformation off their services. Tiktok claims a service outage took down some accounts but Secular Left was banned as this screenshot from the app shows.
