You could be shot and killed for simply being black or poor or of if you are an elected official you are still being booked on political talk shows after trying to undermine our Democracy We also will look at the tone deaf super majority of Republicans in the Ohio legislature and find out how that is a problem for LGBTQ people.

We knew it would be bad for religious freedom when Trump was allowed to appoint three justices to the Supreme Court, once again a majority on the court pull a decision out of their ass to give the religious special privledge during a pandemic. We also update a previous segment on our broken election system and why Georgia’s law is obviously a return to the days of Jim Crow.

After the catastrophic disenfranchisement of voters in Georgia recently and the hundreds of copy cat bills across the country, Doug makes the case why elections need to be federalized. HR 1 For the People Act of 2021 is a great start in that direction. Why would any political person, draped in a flag, shooting fireworks while F-18s fly over head, want to make voting harder to do? Then Doug talks about seeing is favorite pro-union movie and the feels it gives him and the education about unions we all deserve.

He talks about a proposed local ordinance to protect women coming to the only abortion clinic left in Toledo and finally he gives his thoughts on community complaints about dollar stores springing up around the city recently.

Where is the irreparable harm from a limit to the number of people allowed to particpate in an in-person church service. Nick explains how this all started with the Hobby Lobby contraceptive case and we will be living with it for some time to come.
